Updates

I got to help out in Trevor's preschool class last week. It was a lot of fun. 4 year olds have a lot of energy! We did crafts, sang songs, read stories, played games ate a Thanksgiving feast and had a lot of fun. Trevor is really enjoying school.

Kara is practically running now! She is so fast. Trevor wasn't even walking at this age. She is fascinated with all the Christmas lights we put up. She is constantly pointing at them and grunting. It is so much fun to watch her learn and explore. She loves to pick up toys and put them away. She loves socks and shoes. She is always walking around with a sock or shoe on her hand or in her mouth.

Allie is such a confident walker now. She too is fascinated with the Christmas lights. She loves to look at pictures and books. It is so much fun to watch her learn and explore. She loves to pick up toys and put them away. She too, will carry socks and shoes on either her hand or in her mouth. Such silly girls!

The girls are starting to share with each other a little, but they also steal toys away from each other. The other day Allie got upset because she had a pink sippy and wasn't happy until she had Kara's purple sippy. So we traded, Kara didn't mind which one she had.

We had fun with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. Eating way too much of course, and trying to get some midnight shopping in, along with everyone else.

The girls and I participated in a flash mob on Sunday for Community Transit. It was a lot of fun, but it was over way too fast!

Trick or Treat

We had a busy day on Halloween. The kids dressed up and went trick or treating in Downtown Arlington. We went with some friends. The kids had a blast. The weather was dry until the last 10 minutes, then it started to rain. Trevor was dressed as a bumblebee and the girls were pumpkins.

Later that afternoon we went to my Mom's house to celebrate her birthday. The kids went in costume and had cake and ice cream, then trick or treated in the neighborhood.

We went back to our house and met up with friends there. We went around the neighborhood, only Trevor got candy. A lot of people asked if the girls wanted candy, but we declined as we would be the ones eating it :) Once we got home we looked at Trevor's bag of candy, there was way too much in there! But it sure was fun. Now we'll have candy for Trevor's birthday pinata again...
